Brynhyfryd is a listed mansion built by William Jones, a successful shipbuilder, in c 1840; it stands in well-kept grounds of approximately an acre overlooking the harbour and marina, with views over Cardigan Bay to the mountains of mid-Wales. Shops, pubs, restaurants, beaches, the National Sailing Centre of Wales and the Welsh Coastal Path are ten minutes walk away. Enjoy the wonderful coastal scenery of the Lleyn Peninsula, visit the castles and mines of Gwynedd and walk over the mountains of Snowdonia. Then relax in the grounds of Brynhyfryd where we provide table tennis, croquet and other games, a barbecue grill and garden furniture.
We welcome guests into Bwthyn, a cottage within our grounds, and Brynbach, a garden flat within the house. Both units are furnished and decorated to high standards; both have first class equipment including digital TV/Video/DVD and radio/CD player, gas, central heating and modern built-in kithcen equipment (with conventional and microwave ovens and dishwasher). Electricity, gas, central heating, crockery, cutlery, linen, dedicated car parking and laundry are provided without additional charge. Both units are ideal for those who seek accomodation which is quiet. private and easily accessible.
